Stainless steel 321H is a carbon-rich version of grade 321 and contains titanium stabilization to avoid intergranular corrosion following welding or exposure to high temperatures. It has a characteristic tensile strength ranging from 515–740 MPa and has good strength, creep strength, and resistance against oxidation at up to 900°C. The additional carbon enhances the high-temperature strength, and titanium stabilization provides structural stability throughout thermal cycling and fabrication.
