310 angle stainless steel is an austenitic stainless steel containing mostly iron with 24–26% chromium and 19–22% nickel. It provides a tensile strength of approximately 515 MPa and a yield strength of around 205 MPa and possesses good elongation and creep resistance. The presence of a high level of chromium and nickel ensures that it has the best resistance to scaling and oxidation at temperatures of up to 1100°C. It resists corrosion and maintains its structure even under long-term thermal exposure, which qualifies it to be used in harsh heat conditions.
