Stainless steel 304H angle is an austenitic stainless steel consisting of iron, 18–20% chromium, 8–11% nickel, and a slightly higher carbon content (0.04–0.10%) than regular 304 for enhancing high-temperature strength. It offers a tensile strength of approximately 585 MPa and yield strength of about 240 MPa. The higher content of carbon increases resistance to creep and structural integrity at high temperatures, so it is best suited for application in pressure vessels, boilers, and heat exchangers where both strength and corrosion resistance are essential.
