Stainless steel 310H angle is an austenitic steel that contains iron, 24–26% chromium, 19–22% nickel, and an increased amount of carbon (0.04–0.10%) to increase its strength and creep resistance when exposed to high temperatures. It has a tensile strength of around 515 MPa and yield strength of around 205 MPa, with good ductility and heat stability. The higher carbon content enhances its mechanical properties in hot heat conditions, while the nickel and chromium give excellent corrosion and oxidation resistance in conditions up to 1100°C.
