Stainless steel 316Ti angle includes iron, chromium (16–18%), nickel (10–14%), molybdenum (2–3%), and titanium (min. 5 times the carbon content) to stabilize the alloy. The addition of titanium avoids carbide precipitation due to welding or heat at high temperatures. It provides a tensile strength of approximately 550 MPa, yield strength of about 240 MPa, and good ductility. The alloy retains its mechanical properties in high-heat conditions with excellent corrosion resistance. Its stable composition renders it perfect for long-term exposure to high temperatures without sacrificing resistance to sensitization or oxidation.
