Stainless Steel 253MA Angle is an austenitic stainless steel alloy that mainly consists of chromium (20–22%), nickel (10–12%), silicon (1.4–2%), and nitrogen (0.14–0.20%). It also incorporates rare earth metals to boost its resistance to high-temperature oxidation. This alloy is known for its impressive mechanical strength and heat resistance, boasting a tensile strength of about 600 MPa and a yield strength of roughly 310 MPa. It retains its structural integrity even at temperatures up to 1100°C and offers excellent creep resistance. Its unique composition makes it perfect for load-bearing applications in high-temperature and oxidizing environments.
