Stainless steel 317 channel is primarily made up of iron, but with increased concentrations of chromium (18–20%), nickel (11–15%), and molybdenum (3–4%) than normal grades. Its tensile strength is approximately 515 MPa and yield strength is approximately 205 MPa, with good ductility and excellent weldability.
