Super duplex steel sheets and plates are normally produced from grades such as UNS S32750 and S32760. These alloys have a well-balanced composition of austenitic and ferritic microstructures, which possess high tensile strength (up to 800 MPa) and yield strength (approximately 550 MPa), as well as good resistance to stress corrosion cracking, pitting, and crevice corrosion. They are weldable and resistant at low temperatures. The chromium, molybdenum, and nitrogen content makes them more resistant to aggressive chemical and chloride-containing environments.
