Monel 400 Coil / Slitting Coil is a robust nickel-copper alloy, made up of roughly 67% nickel and 30% copper, along with trace amounts of iron, manganese, and silicon. This unique blend gives it fantastic corrosion resistance in seawater, as well as in acidic and alkaline environments. It boasts a tensile strength ranging from 480 to 620 MPa and maintains excellent toughness across a broad temperature spectrum. The alloy is non-magnetic, can be work-hardened, and keeps its shape even under mechanical stress. Monel 400 also shines in both reducing and oxidizing conditions, making it perfect for challenging processing and marine environments.
