Titanium Grade 5 coil and slitting coil consist of 90% titanium, 6% aluminum, and 4% vanadium. This alloy provides high tensile strength of approximately 895 MPa and yield strength of about 828 MPa. The alloy has good ductility, toughness, and resistance to fatigue, providing it with potential for use in stress-loaded applications. The alloy has good corrosion resistance in most aggressive environments and is heat treatable as well, which further increases its mechanical properties. These features provide Titanium Grade 5 coils with high reliability for both structural and precision uses.
